About Louvre Museum Tickets
Louvre Museum Tickets is an independent visitor guide. We explain the differences between Louvre ticket and tour formats and link to Tiqets, where bookings are made.
What we do
Visitors often find it hard to tell what they are paying for when they compare Louvre tickets and tours. We explain, in plain language, what each format includes, who it suits, which queues remain and how to avoid paying for options you do not need. We also publish practical planning pages on opening hours, transport and first visits.
What we do not do
- We are not the official website of the Musée du Louvre and are not affiliated with or endorsed by it.
- We do not sell tickets, take payments or issue vouchers. Bookings take place on Tiqets.
- We do not organise or run tours. Tours are supplied by the providers named on Tiqets.
- We cannot view, change or refund bookings.
How we choose the formats we link to
We looked at the formats available for the Louvre on Tiqets and selected six that cover different needs: a general guided tour, a small group tour, a short masterpieces tour, an evening tour, a private tour and a combination with a Seine cruise. This is an editorial selection based on the formats and descriptions visible on Tiqets. It is not a ranking of best sellers, and we have no access to sales data.
We left out products that are not museum admission, such as virtual reality experiences outside the museum, so they do not distort the comparison of entry options.
How we compare options
For every format we look at what is included, duration, language, group format, meeting rules and the final price on Tiqets. Read more in our editorial policy.
How we are funded
We may earn a commission from Tiqets when you book through our links. This funds the site. It does not change how we describe products, and we link to the official museum ticketing site where it is the better choice. See the affiliate disclosure.
