Editorial policy

Our Editorial Policy

How we research and source our pages, how prices are handled, how we correct mistakes and how commission is kept apart from our advice.

Official sources first

For museum facts such as opening hours, entrances, admission rules and official prices we rely on the museum’s own website, louvre.fr. When an official page and another source disagree, we follow the official page and recheck. Each important page lists its sources.

Product details from the product page

For guided tours and combinations, we read the specific Tiqets product page for each format. We describe what that page includes and excludes, and we say so when details depend on the option chosen. We do not assume that conditions of the official museum ticket apply to third party packages.

How we handle prices

Editorial advice is labelled

Our tips are marked as editorial advice and are kept apart from museum rules. We do not claim personal visits, expert credentials or reviews we have not gathered, and we do not publish testimonials.

Commission does not decide what we write

We may earn commission from Tiqets bookings. We still point to the official museum ticketing site when a standard ticket is the better fit, and we explain what a format does not include. See the affiliate disclosure.

Corrections

If you find an error, email book@louvre-museum-tickets.fr with the page address. We check the report against the sources and update the page if needed. Significant corrections update the page’s modification date.

How we compare options

Every format is compared on the same points: what is included, duration, language, group format, meeting rules and the final price on the partner site. This is our own method, not a certification.
